March 25: Deaf in Prison

The festival takes place on the lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabek, Huron-Wendat, and Attawandaron Peoples. All events are free (donations welcome), wheelchair accessible, and scent-reduced—please do not use or wear scented products, including essential oils.
Accessibility Info: The location is wheelchair accessible and ASL will be provided for this screening.

Deaf in Prison:
Interviews with deaf individuals in prison explain their personal stories of being in the prison system.
A Documentary called Deaf In Prison(Al Jazeera Exclusive), which focuses on interviews with deaf individuals in prison explaining their personal stories of being in the prison system.
A guest speaker prior to the film & a panel for Q&A after the viewing of the documentary will be there for whomever wishes to ask questions.
There will be an educational booth set up outside for whomever wishes to further their knowledge on the topic on disabilities, the prison complex or about the Prisoner Justice Film Festival.
